Removes chalky white mineral
deposits from concrete & masonry surfaces.

Efflorescence forms on the surface of concrete and masonry when minerals are carried to the surface during the evaporation of moisture contained within the substrate. Lifeguard Efflorescence Remover is a heavy duty cleaner formulated to breakdown and dissolve mineral deposits that appear as a chalky white powder on the surface of architectural concrete and masonry. Lifeguard Efflorescence Remover can also be used to remove cement haze, grout residue and hard water stains.

Application Guidelines:

1.  Pre-wet the surface with water before applying
     Lifeguard Efflorescence Remover.

2.  TEST A SMALL AREA to determine cleaning results.

3.  Apply Lifeguard Efflorescence Remover with a
     low-pressure plastic sprayer.

4.  Allow the cleaner to remain on the surface for 5-7
     minutes.

5.  Use a stiff bristle nylon brush or broom to scrub the
     surface.

6.  Rinse surface thoroughly with hose or power washer.

7.  Can be diluted with up to 5 parts of water.

8.  DO NOT ALLOW CLEANER TO DRY ON THE
     SURFACE.

 Important: After cleaning, neutralize the area with a solution of TSP.
Limitations:

  • Do not mix with bleach or other cleaners.
  • Do not use on metal.  Use caution near colored concrete or grout.
  • May etch natural stone, marble or sandstone.
  • Not effective as a paint stripper.
